Initially built as a test to find the best modular level design workflow for low poly assets, it slowly turned into its own unique thing – using Probuilder for the 3D assets, and Playmaker’s visual scripting to add level functionality. Aseprite was used to UV map the pixel art textures separately.


Although the project is very much a work in progress, it serves as a great testbed to try out both new art assets as well as prototyping game mechanics as I expand upon it further.


With the basic modular pieces in place the intention is to now build out a functional single player level where the player has to find a way to escape the titular Zeta Station they’ve been marooned upon.
