Built for Tremor – The 32 level expansion pack for Quake. Tremor looks to re-capture the feel of Quake as it was back in '96 with lo-fi visuals and short, fun level design.


The first Tremor level I had the pleasure of working on, it was designed as a love letter to Quake’s E3M1 – Termination Central. I took initial inspiration from the central slime pit room, giving my own take on it. From there the layout was built outwards – winding and looping back on itself. I kept verticality minimal, drawing further inspiration from classic Doom levels – (see if you can spot 'The Focus' reference!)
